Time to meet another member of the Projectlink Team. This week we quiz James Kelly, New Business Manager. A real family man with a love of darts and a voice like an angel.

1.       Describe your job in 20 words

Responsible for New Business. Meeting prospective clients and selling the benefits of using our products and services.

2.       What is your most treasured possession?

I had better say my wife as I am sure she will end up reading this!

3.       What job did you want to do when you were younger?

A Corporate Lawyer

4.       What do you do to unwind / relax?

Play darts for my local team, don’t judge me for it!

5.       What is your favourite film and why?

Any Disney Pixar film. Great family fun

6.       What would you be if you weren’t in your current job role?

Selling something else!

7.       What motivates you?

Winning the business, especially if I am pitching against our competitors

8.       What is your favourite holiday destination?

As long as it is warm and sunny I do not mind where I go.

9.       What is playing on your iPod at the moment?

The Rat Pack

10.   What’s the best thing about your current role?

I like being on the road. I do not think I would survive being solely office based.

11.   Who is your hero?

Alan Sugar. A real rags to riches businessman!

12.   What is your earliest childhood memory?

Riding my first bike. It had stabilisers, handle bar tassels and even those things that you put on the spokes from boxes of corn flakes.

13.   What would you choose for your last meal?

One of my Great Grandmothers famous pasties!

14.   If you were a car, what car would you be and why?

I would choose an Audi R8. I recently had the opportunity to drive one at Silverstone and it is a fantastic car.

15.   If you were granted one wish, what would it be?

To fly!

16.   Do you still have your school swimming certificate?

No, I was a rather tubby child and tended to avoid the swimming pool.

17.   What’s your most irritating habit?

I am sure my colleagues would say singing and whistling!

18.   What did you ask Santa for last year?

A gym membership to work off the excess Christmas baggage.

19.   If you could swap lives for a day with anyone, who would that be?

My wife, to see if raising the kids really is a full time job!
